Video: Gonzalez' Reaction to Facing Hewitt in the 1st Round

Melbourne's 13th seed, Fernando Gonzalez, will face home favorite, Lleyton Hewitt, in the Australian Open first round. Gonzalez, who is famous for his ruthless forehand, has a 3-2 head-to-head record lead over Hewitt, however they haven't played each other since the 2007 Australian Open, where Gonzalez made it all the way to the final before falling to Roger Federer.

Gonzalez' prep for the Open

Played the exhibition at Kooyong, beat Ljubicic then lost to Wawrinka and will face Verdasco on Saturday to determine the 3rd and 4th position.

Hewitt's prep for the Open

Reached the Sydney International quarterfinals, beating Benneteau and Tipsarevic, before falling to David Nalbandian 7-6, 7-5.

Who do you think will have the upperhand here?! Gonzalez, ranked 14 in the world and a finalist in Melbourne 2 years ago, or Hewitt, a former world number 1, currently ranked 74, aided by a home crowd that saw him reach the finals in 2005 and lose to Marat Safin? Do Tell!!!

That's a tough one, but I think Hewitt has played some good matches in Sydney especially in his close match against Nalbandian.
Gonzalez is unpredictable, he has the game to crush Hewitt, but somehow I am sensing the local favorite will win this one.
