Djokovic Stunned By Ferrer, Spain Go 1-0 Up

Check out that footwork!!!

The Spaniards have already proven they can win without Rafa when they trumped Argentina in the finals last year. It's nice to know that they play just as well even with the comfort of having the world number 1 on their squad.

David Ferrer made it 1-0 for Spain as he defeated world number 3, Novak Djokovic, 6-3, 6-3, 7-6, in the opening rubber, Saturday morning.

What a blow for the Serbs, who are heavily relying on the world number 3 to score them some crucial points. Djokovic made too many mistakes and Ferrer just pounced on every single one of them.

Next up in the tie is Rafael Nadal against Janko Tipsarevic, and I believe the doubles rubber will take place today as well.
