Quote of the Day - Rafa and Djoko Ready For Davis Cup Face-Off

“We will come out to play (the best we can). I’ve been lucky to be able to play well in the last couple of years and we hope to continue the same way... If anything it will be very competitive... I feel great and with a great will to keep going on... I’m very excited about representing my country."

- Rafael Nadal ahead of the Spain-Serbia Davis Cup first round clash coming up this weekend.

"Playing against Rafa would be very interesting. He’s the world number one and he plays really well in all surfaces. But I think we all know that clay is definitely his favorite."

- Novak Djokovic is perhaps playing down his team's chances against Rafa & co.

Spain and Serbia have met 8 times before in the Davis Cup with Spain leading their encounters 6-2.

The 2008 Davis Cup champions will be lead by world number 1, Nadal, David Ferrer, Tommy Robredo and Feliciano Lopez (still don't know why there's no Verdasco), while world number 3, Djokovic, headlines the Serbian squad alongside Viktor Troicki, Janko Tipsarevic and doubles specialist, Nenad Zimonjic.

The Davis Cup first round takes place between March 6th and 8th.
